Meet Kay

I’m the Pastor’s wife, the mother of four and a follower of the one true God of the Bible and the living Christ, living in the hope and anticipation of His glorious return.

I don’t know about you, but I’m forever thankful for God’s grace that holds me together daily, when things go right and when the don’t. His sweet grace and deep, rich, unconditional love is like a warm hug of acceptance and an “Everything is ok” moment when the pain is deep and the failure overwhelming. Ahh yes, His grace is like a refreshing spring rain that washes away the dross, clears the conscience, forgives the sin, heals the hurt and warms the heart. I trust you’ve experienced it for yourself and truly know His tender and precious, forgiving grace!

He is an awesome God, brilliant in His creativity! I love to see how He works in the lives of His people as He forgives, cleanses, renews and reconciles them to His Father. I love to see how He turns our rags to riches and intertwines His golden threads of grace, through our failures to make them something beautiful for His glory. That’s what He does! I love how He does it!.

My prayer of blessing for you ~

A Note From Kay

Hello friends! I think we’ve met somewhere!

Maybe in Church! Maybe the coffee shop, a book signing event, or maybe in the grocery store or the restaurant. It’s such a small world, isn’t it? It’s just a delight to know you and I’m delighted to have you come by as we seek to build up our faith in the Lord together!

Life is hard and tosses us about into some pretty crazy, challenging situations! It’s so easy to default to worry and fear at such a time as this, but I’m so thankful, for a strong faith and the comforting peace of God that Paul writes about from his prison cell in Philippians 4:6, 7

Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything.  Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He’s done.  Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.”

Paul writes to encourage the believers in Philippi but his words of comfort have echoed down through the ages, into our hearts for the ‘now’ moments of today, right there smack dab in the middle of our hard place in which we find ourselves.

I’m so thankful that God is for me all the time, whether I feel it or whether I don’t.  His unconditional ‘love gift’ of salvation, forgiveness, grace and mercy, wraps me so warmly and so beautifully it can make me blush as I realize how much He’s given that I can never repay.  His amazing grace holds me together daily, while the depth of His mercy reaches down to my lowest of lows, yet doesn’t leave me where it finds me.  Ah, yes, His rich, sweet mercy lifts me to new heights of grace- protection, holding me in safekeeping in the shadow of His wing; a safe place to be!   That’s what He does! I love how He does it!
